This is likely an odd question, but... We have 2 "classic" Symmetra units (SYMSTRF, I think) and a number of battery expansion cabinets that have never been installed since being delivered to our warehouse in the early 2000's. They are still on their pallets with the plastic bags covering them, and the power modules and batteries are in individual factory boxes (cardboard w/ foam inserts). The batteries are obviously trashed and need to be replaced.
I expect the main frames have AP9606 NMCs installed (I haven't actually looked at them in over a decade) and would replace it with a new AP9631.
What are the odds that I can hook up one of the main frames with a power module and a (new) SYBATT and have things power up and operate? At that point I can add additional power modules and purchase new batteries until I have the desired runtime.
I only need to get one main frame and one expansion cabinet operational, so I'll have a full set of spares (MIM/RIM/Power modules / Powerview) to work with, but all of the same vintage.

Hi Terry,
You should be fine to start up without any issues that I can think of. The IMs might be outdated. The current FW for them are 157. As you probably already know this Symmetra system has been disconntinued for over 10 years and the making of spare parts ceased last December.
