Increasing APC UPS charge voltage and amperes
Please is it possible to increase the charge voltage/amperes in an APC UPS?
If yes how can it be done?
I have this UPS 2200 that's giving 54V and max of 2A while charging my batteries which makes it take longer time to fully charge the battery.

I pretty sure it cannot be done via a software/firmware/adaptable parameter change. Modifying the hardware itself is probably the only way to do it and, of course, is not recommended. Are you trying to charge the original equipment batteries or are you trying to use a higher capacity battery connected externally to the UPS?

Am using a pair of higher capacity batteries connected externally.
More so, my system is not having serial port with which I can communicate with the ups. I bought a USB to Serial converter but its not seeing my ups.
Is there something am suppose to do that I've not done? Please help out.
