Hi there,
We are using network management card on Infrastruxure and PowerChute network shutdown for workstation. When it lost input power, we want to shutdown all clients after amount of time (ex: 10 minutes) but we haven't found the way. Could you guys help us out?
Thank in advanced!
Mac Tieu.

you can do this a few different ways.
1.) if everything has to shtudown at the same time, the easiest way is to adjust the low battery setting in the network management card. when the UPS has
2.) if things have to shutdown at different times or adjusting the low battery duration/setting on the management card itself does not have a good value for you based on your available runtime, then you can configure the powerchute network shutdown clients to shutdown after the UPS has been on battery for a certain amount of seconds. you'd need to set this on each client and it also allows you to stagger shutdowns if you set different thresholds for each client. when something shuts down, keep in mind your runtime might change at that time. there are also other events you can use to shutdown besides UPS: on battery once you get into the powerchute network shutdown interface and look around.
