I have some questions about the condensate drain pump in the INROW RC systems. Please clarify.
1. When does the pump starts working?
2. When the pan is full, the system gives alarm and the goes to idle mode. Is there a way that can
prevent the system from going to idel mode?
3. How to test the working of the pump by manually starting it and see the water out of the system in
the drain pipe ?
Tks
Bala

Bala,
Here is the answer I received from Infrastruxure Cooling Technical Support:
The pump starts working when the primary float lifts. When the overflow float is active the unit will turn off to avoid additional condensate from being introduced into the pan. There are no configuration changes to avoid this alarm condition. The only way to manually test the pump is to lift the pump float, due to the pump/float being internal to the unit only authorized personal (APC FSE) should preform this test..
