"I cannot connect the battery model: SRV36BP -9A to the UPS model: SRVPM1KIL. I hope to receive everyone's support. I have connected the wires according to the instruction manual (the image below shows this). But the screen on the UPS still says it does not detect the battery. I am not sure what is happening. Please give me your opinions.

The cable on the battery pack needs to be installed on the (Top) connector. The ground wire must be connected as well on both sides while the unit is NOT plugged into AC Mains.

Obviously, once those two steps are completed ensure the breaker is in the (On) position.

Let me know how everything turns out. If the above information resolves the problem. Please do mark this query as resolved. 👍

Thank you very much for your contribution. I have tried many times, but the UPS still cannot connect to the battery. You can watch the video below.

Unplug the cable from the UPS and measure the voltage at the battery pack. The voltage should be 36 ~ 40.8 VDC at the battery terminals.

Have you opened the battery pack to insure it’s wired / connected to the external breaker properly?? 🤔

All of the batteries from APC are normally disconnected and covered with tape. Verify your unit isn’t simply unplugged on the inside.

I would also encourage you to reach out to APC Technical Support. Given this is a brand new unit to see if there is something obvious not setup correctly.

Let me know what the voltage is at the battery terminals. You should toggle the breaker in both positions to validate (IF) voltage is present that it is cut off once the breaker is tripped and in the off position.

Open up the unit and show me the battery compartment and how it’s wired to the unit. 👍
