Hi there,
I hope you can help me with this one...
I can't login to the PowerChute Network Shutdown Webinterface.
I installed PCNS v3 for the fist time on a server and after finishing the first-time-configuration-wizzard I'm in the webinterface and everything looks good.
After a few hours I want to access the Webinterface again but...
https://servername:6547
"Log on to PowerChute to monitor and configure shutdown"
*"Invalid User name or Password. Please try again"*
I already tried all the Login & Passwords I could think of.
Please help, Florian

this would have been whatever you entered when it was installed. generally the administrator username is the same as what it is on your network management card. also, you can try pressing the logon button, versus pressing enter on the page to see if that helps.
if you don't know your password, on PCNS v3, you can reset the password. this article also might be applicable: http://nam-en.apc.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/11382/

Thanks for your answer!
Yes, I had a special character in the NMC password... π
I changed the NMC password and I also changed the password of the PCNS according to http://nam-en.apc.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/11382/
but unfortunately I'm still not able to login.
Any other ideas?
Thanks in advanced,
Florian

OK, I got it!
Eventhough the username was correct - I had to change it too in the INI-File.
Now it's working...
Many thanks.
