I have a SRT1000XLA running 7.9 firmware connected to 3 SRT48BP. I can turn off the outlet groups OK, but I can't turn off the SRT1000XLA. I have to turn off the UPS in order to remove an old pre-hotswap AP9630 card.
Main menu -> Control Menu-> UPS only shows "Turn off {immediate, with delay} and Reboot options. No Shutdown options are displayed. If I turn off the outlet groups, the only options that remain in this menu are Turn on {immediate, with delay} outlet groups -- the Reboot options disappear.
So it appears there is *no way* to turn off my SRT1000XLA. The Operations manual states that the options displayed in the menu vary based on the UPS state. What state must the UPS be in in order for the Shutdown options to appear?
What am I missing here?
Thanks.

Hi,
Turn off UPS is the same as shutdown UPS. The options are to turn off immediately, or with delay. You will find the configured delay via the LCD panel under Configuration when in Advanced mode. I think that model UPS has 2 outlet groups. A main outlet group and a switched outlet group. If you turn off UPS immediately both outlet groups are powered down immediately. If you choose to turn off with delay the switched outlet group will power off using its predefined delay then the main groups will power off using its predefined delay.
You will also find the outlet group configuration via the NMC. Go to Configuration - Outlet Groups
