How to test APC PowerChute Network Shutdown Functionality

I really need all the help I can get from everyone out there. I want to know how to test APC Powerchut Network Shutdown functionality. Do I need to unplug my Symmetra LX UPS from the main power switch to see if all my servers and devices gracefully shutdown? or is there any other ways I can do this without unplug the UPS from the main power?

I have the following items in my environment:

Symmetra LX UPS
Switched Rack PDU
Network Management Care EM
PowerChute Network Shutdown

Plus, several Blade Servers, Cisco Routers, and Switches.
