How to reset it address of ap9619

Hello. I got a apc smart upc 1500xml with network card ap9619.

The led lights green on the ap9619 and I don't know the IP address.

How can I reset it?

Hi,

You will need the serial cable the came with the UPS. Should be part number 940-0024.

Connect the 940-0024 APC Smart Signaling cable to the DB9 style serial port on the UPS in which the NMC is installed in

Open Hyperterminal/terminal program I use Putty for my terminal app.

Select appropriate COM port

Use the following COM port settings:  2400, 8, none, 1, none

At terminal screen, press enter.  Username and Password 

Option 2 for Network, Option 1 for TCP/IP

Assign a valid IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway

Press until you are returned to the main menu.

Option 4 for Logout

Connect the network cable to the Network Card.

Open a web browser and try accessing the IP address.
