How to reboot cpu (windows XP prof) with Powerchute 9.1 scheduled restart?
I just installed my new smartups and powerchute using
my modem on the main outlet group and
my cpu and peripherals on the 1st outlet group/switched outlet group
When I set up a scheduled shutdown and reboot - everything shuts down as I set it up, and the main (modem) restarts first (as I set up), but when the switched (outlet group 1) starts, the cpu comes on and immediately shuts down. I need to start it manually. I set up the bios on my cpu to start cpu and return all software and data to their state before shutdown. The cpu restarts when we did an uncontrolled shutdown (we just pulled the wallplug), but it won't restart with a controlled shutdown. Can you help?
