How to filter out informational email notifications?

Hello,

My org recently installed a Schneider Electric Galaxy VS. It's running network management card 4. I'm configuring email & alerting for it. Email is working perfectly, but I'd like to disable receiving informational level events and can't figure out how to do so. I'm following these steps:

Create recipient, enable email generation

Configuration -> Notification -> Event Actions -> By Group, uncheck "Informational", proceed through menus and apply

Despite that, our DL is still receiving informational email alerts. Any ideas how I can prevent this?

Thank you!

You’ll want to select by event type and choose the informational events you like to modify. Select the email address you wish to modify.

Once the email member has been selected you can define the duration and frequency of the informational email alert.

Let me me if that helps and if so please mark this reply as answered so it may assist the next person asking the same. 👍

Thanks for your reply Teken, I'm sorry I don't understand. Let me rephrase my question: I would like to receive email notifications for only warning & critical events. How can I do that?

Thanks so much.

Go to Configuration -> Notification's -> Event Action -> By Event -> Select the (main event type) such as Power Event, Environment Events, System Events.

Scroll down to the informational events and open each hyperlink. Uncheck the email Alia’s you do not wish to receive these specific alert notifications.

Please do let me know if this helps solve your problem. 👍

To stop getting informational emails from your Schneider Electric Galaxy VS, follow these steps: First, make sure you've created a recipient and enabled email alerts. Then, go to Configuration, Notification, Event Actions. Look for By Group and uncheck Informational. Follow the menus and click apply. Even after doing this, if you're still getting those emails, you might need to check if there's another setting that needs adjusting. Double-check everything to make sure the changes are saved properly.

Yes, by group is the best way for what you requested.
