How to configuring PowerChute Business Edition to send emails.

Hi everybody,

Last day i was trying to configure powerchute on my windows 10 PC. I have installed both client and server agent in my PC. Then I start configure powerchute server.

My requirment is need to get alter to my email.  I am using Gmail. I do the below mentioned configuration

SMTP Ser: smpt.gmail.com

from email address:  give one of my gmail address

to email address: give one of my other gmail address

Then hit the test connection.

But test is failed.

have anybody know to solve this one..?

Hi,

Unfortunately PowerChute Business Edition Server is not compatible with SMTP like Gmail. If your Smart-UPS is a model SMT, SMX, SRT, SURTD then you can configure the PowerChute Business Edition Agent with Gmail. We have FAQ FA249593 "SMTP Port option in PowerChute Business Edition version 9.2" that discusses the set up.
