Hi All,
I've just installed 26 new batteries in our Smart UPS units and their battery packs. I've been looking through the management card browser interface and I can't find anywhere where it tells me the status of each individual battery. Can someone tell where I can find this or how I can check that all the installed batteries are ok? I'm just worried that one of them is a dud and I wont know about it until its too late!
Thanks for your help
Rob

Hi Rob,
This UPS model (Smart UPS RT 6000?) does not have intelligent batteries unfortunately so the information you'll get from batteries in general is the DC voltage. And even so, the DC voltage that you get is for the entire bus of the UPS, which would include the battery pack. You cannot see just the voltage from the battery pack.
Essentially, you'd just want to make sure the battery bus voltage is around 218vDC and that any time you replace batteries for these systems, you replace them all at the same time between the UPS internal batteries and in the pack because mixing batteries of a different age is not a good idea.
Beyond that, then I thought of this thread and the information Battman provided -> Critical - UPS: At least one faulty battery exists - But which???
