An (active fault / error code) of a battery over temperature indicates the unit is installed in a very hot environment.

The only solution is to provide the required cooling or to move the unit to another climate controlled room.

It should be noted elevated temperatures of one degree over the recommended operating range will shorten the service life of the battery cartridge. Meaning you will have to replace the RBC more often and the operational runtime will also be less.

If the battery temperature enters the critical level the UPS will shutdown. Lastly, the batteries will begin to vent and off gas resulting in a highly combustible situation! ☝️

You may place a fan directed at the battery compartment until you figure out how to maintain a proper climate controlled environment. 👍

Let me know if you have more questions and if not and this answered your question please mark this as solved.

Please look on page 17 if you have external bypass or 14 if not

As it mentioned high environment temperature affect their lifetime but if room temperature is lower then bat temp it is possible internal battery temp sensor is broken. you can troubleshoot by removing one shelf after another. if the fault disappear after removing one of the shelfs it means temps sensor in one of removed modules is broken.
