Yes, you can use AP9619 with this UPS. If you review the user's guide for the UPS, it will instruct you to braindead this UPS but I never do that unless there is a concern that the UPS is damaged prior to installing. 99.9% of the time, it is OK to hot swap without risk. I would just proceed with installing the card hot.

Hi
check for software power chute you install in your computer option for shutdown Necessary the shutdown time not more the backup time and calibration your ups
note if your UPS is old that mean backup time is less than time for shutdown
thanks

Hello,
APC's serial cable is proprietary - a standard USB cable connected to the UPS will most likely turn it off. If this is not an APC serial cable, part number 940-0024 or 940-1524 (which comes with the UPS), then you need to track one down. You can verify the cable part number on one of the DB-9 connectors.
Also, the USB cable that comes with the UPS is an RJ-45 to USB cable, part number AP9827.
Basically, you need to track down the correct cables here. And you can only use USB OR serial connection. If you use USB, you may need to braindead your USB to reset the UPS communications to get serial working (which I can help with).

OK well PowerChute personal edition is not the correct software. Uninstall that and you need to download and install PowerChute business edition agent. Before you install it, pick either USB or serial. If you choose serial and it doesn't work, you may need to reset/braindead your UPS but we can try that only if it doesn't work.
