Hardwire power cable

Hi,
What type of electrical cable is used to hardwire the Symmetra LX 16kVA UPS and the SMART UPS RT 6kVA?
I'm routing the branch circuits from electrical panel to junction boxes overhead, but what type of power cables go from jb to UPS? Type SO cable? The UPSs require hardwired 4-wire (2PH-N-G) and 3-wire (2PH-G).

And, should I route the power cables directly from the junction box?

You should be wiring the LX to a 4-wire service panel which is branching off 3 wire 120 and 3-wire 208 circuits.

Then you can use the hardwire for the RT to one of the 208 circuits on the panel.

If you are looking for the wire guage for these two UPSs, here they are:

Symmetra LX 16kVA requires 3 AWG (L, L, N, G) input and output.

For the Smart-UPS RT 6kVA, 10 AWG is required to use the UPS at full capacity within Code.
