Hi
I have SUA3000XL/UXI 3 year old UPS. My Problem regarding FIRMWARE is when i see through hyper trm and use option "b" reply from ups is [ ---18.I ] but actual ( As per APC ups calibration chart it shown 91.11.1 ) when i try to set it everything is done ok in terminal.
when i verify to check again it show me old value ---18.1.
IS MY FIRMWARE IS INCORRECT OR BAD ?
WHAT SHOULD I DO TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM.
Thank's
Prashant Pathak

I am not sure what can cause this but unfortunately I don't think there is much you can do. The purpose of b is to provide a unique identifier of every SKU we offer in decimal so if it is not reporting properly, it is not something you can change. I also don't know what type of impact this has but it sounds like minimal unless other commands are not working properly.
If the UPS is working fine elsewise, you just might need to look past it. We cannot furthersupport this type of issue interacting with UPS-Link directly on the UPS, especially if you do not have a non-disclosure agreement with APC in order for obtaining it.
I'll leave this open for other users to comment on if they would like to or can assist.
