I just reconnected my Smart-UPS 2200 RM XL after a few months of being offline (but left charged), and the fan is always running at low speed now which I do not remember being the case before. I have a single SUA48RMXLBP attached and an AP9630 card in there which reports:
Capacity: 100.0%
Battery voltage: 55.35 VDC
Load current: 0.0 Amps
Internal temperature: 18.4°C
APC OS version: v6.5.6
Firmware revision: 690.19.D
Serial Number: JS1020291047
The batteries were last replaced in April of 2017. Prior to the shutdown I recall it being completely silent when not charging or on high load / high temperature, am I incorrect in my recollection of the fan activity or is there something wrong with the UPS that I should address?
Thanks!

All of my later model SUA units run the fan at low speed full time.
