Faceplate AP9630

I recently bought an AP9630 NMC over ebay for my SMT750I.

Unfortunately I did not recognise that there are different slot sizes on the faceplate. I contacted the support and even sent pictures but the answer was just "The card is compatible", even when it is clearly visible that the card does not fit into the Smart-UPS.

After searching through the forum, I found some posts mentioning that there was a wrong faceplate on some AP9630 NMC.

Before I go on and cut the faceplate and put the card into the Smart-UPS, I just wanted to ask two questions.

- Is my card compatible with the Smart-UPS?
- Is it possible to get a correct faceplate from APC?

Hi Stephan,

This is an issue with some of the very early NMC2s, contact your local support team and they will arrange a replacement faceplate for you.
