FJT1500I restarts when power restored
Hi,
We have recently purchased a SmartUPS 1500I when we test it by unplugging it from the mains it seems to perform fine until we plug it back in (when runtime has dropped below 10 minutes) at which point it restarts - in the process cutting power to the equipment it is supposed to be protecting.
Is there some sort of setting which makes it do this?

Do you see the same behavior if you test it differently? What I mean is that when testing a UPS's true operation, you should not unplug the unit from the AC power source. Doing so breaks not only the hot phase/leg, but ground and neutral as well. To test, plug the UPS into a power strip and using the power button on the strip turn the power off. Flipping the upstream breaker may work as well if you don't have power strip to use and control. To restore power, turn the strip/breaker back on. Doing this should only break the hot connection and not the ground and neutral. When power is restored in this fashion, the UPS should not shutdown and restart when switching from battery to utility power.
If it still cuts the power, then we need to look more closely at your setup for shutdown (any PowerChute clients configured/attached, delays, load shedding settings, etc) and how far along in the graceful shutdown/reboot process the UPS is getting to see if we can explain what is happening.
