Hello,
I have a rack of standalone ESXi host 6.7, QNAP-NAS540A8E, and APC SRT 6000 (SRT6KXLI).
In case of power failure, I want UPS to shutdown host and Qnap, when the battery charge comes below 20%, or run time less than 10 minutes.
What software should I install and how to configure it?
QNAP is not mandatory, but if there is a way, I would like to know.
Thank you.

Hi Giorgi,
I believe that unit has an integrated network card but I could be wrong. If it does you need to connect the network card to your network and enable PowerChute.
Once that's done you can use the PowerChute Network Shutdown VM to shutdown your VMWare server, note that only licensed VMWare servers are supported.

As for the QNAP, that is not officially supported but you can configure PCNS to run a script at shutdown that will SSH to the QNAP and shut it down.

Hello Gavan,
Thank you for your reply and I'm sorry to respond so late.
I've installed PCNS and set it up, but I still cannot apply the rules I've mentioned earlier. Seems like it is missing some functionality. (I've attached to a screenshot)
Please, can you provide any kind of instructions?
Thank you

It looks like you didn't enable VMWare support, there's a tick box you need to select during the installation.

I've enabled a Standalone VMware Host support. I do not have Center server...

The UPS should shut down the ESXi host upon any power interruption when it reaches down 10% of its maximum capacity, or run time left 20 minutes.
As I know, this setup is possible using the PCNS, but I cannot locate it...
If the vCenter is necessary, I will set it up as well.
Thank you.

Click the button that says configure events, then configure run-time remain below threshold or when battery percentage below threshold.

That's 20 minutes, 600 would be 10 minutes.

Yes, I just entered a random number.
Is that it? It does not need any other configuration right?

Provided you have entered the host details correctly during setup then yes but I would advise that you perform a test.
