Hi, I plan to purchase two pcs of Smart 3k VA UPS for backing up one single server. They will be providing dual power source to my server. If I add the management card AP9630 to both UPS, can they communicate and auto shutdown the server once both UPS are out of battery? Thanks!

Our Powerchute software has the ability to "listen" to multiple NMCs. During the install of powerchute network shutdown, you would select the option for "Redundant: Two or more UPS providing redundancy, with multiple power cables from the computer." You would then enter the IP info for each ap9630 and once able to communicate with each NMC, the install with go through as normal. The link below explains this as well. Let us know if you have any further questions
