I understand that the Symmetra LX line are the new models, but can anyone tell me what some of the benefits or new features are of this line?
Example would be between something like SYH4K6RMT and SYA4K8RMP. They're nearing identical in terms of specs, but not really seeing anything the differentiates the new SYA models.
Thanks,
Rick

That definitely helps Angela. Thanks for that additional info. I'm not currently in need of such higher capacity that the LX line provides at this time, so I may stick with the Symmetra RM.

The SYA4K8RMP is scalable to 8KVA, input is 4 wire 2 hot, 1 neutral and 1 ground, output is 120/208 or 120/240, output connectors are (4) NEMA L5-20R, (2) NEMA L14-30 I added a link to the product page.
The Technical Specifications for the units should answer your questions.

The SYA SKU is a Symmetra LX but just a smaller version than you may have found. It has a maximum of 8kVA capacity and then we have another option which is a larger frame with 16kVA capacity.
In general, the LX offers a few other things I recall from my days of working with them - fully redundant intelligence modules, split phase power output, tower/rackmount convertible, better power factor, more intelligent battery modules, and user replaceable backplate PDUs.
Symmetra LX replaced the old Symmetra Power Array Tower but overlaps a little with the Symmetra RM. Symmetra RM is based on the older design and those SKUs start with the SYH. One thing people like about those is it has most of the benefits of the Symmetra as far as its modular but it also comes with a plug which means you don't have to hardwire it. It also does not require a neutral wire like the LX does.
Hope this helps in addition to what Bill covered.
