I'm having an odd issue with one of my 1500's. It's a dla1500 (dell distibution). 9617 NM card.
It reports "A UPS was found that is not supported by this application" when telnetting to it and the web app cannot talk to it either. It sounds exactly like it needs the fix presented by OP "Craig" in this thread:
Where Craig says: "The unit reported BE0.3.D. I have no idea what it actually is, but setting to 601.3.D restored the functionality of both cards. :-)"
What I need to know is where would the "unit report BE0.3.D" and how do I set it to "601.3.D"? Is this something that has to be done with the serial cable? If so which part number is appropriate for this unit?
Already tried the braindead move, downgrading from 3.7.2 / 3.7.3 to 2.1.0/2.1.0 without resolving the issue. Still says ups found that's not supported by this app...
Thanks!

I am not quite sure what Craig did but it sure is not common. If I knew what he did, I'd explain it.
Can you get me a screenshot of the screen where it shows you the firmware versions and specifically what the APP module name is? 99.9% of the time this issue is caused by either the incorrect firmware application loaded or the UPS communication bus has a problem.
