The questioned SU2200 has model number DLS2200RM2U and it is about 3~4 years old.
We recently purchased 4 UPS Network Management Cards AP9630 and install them into 4 UPS units of SU2200. 3 UPS works well after the installation completed, but 1 UPS doesn't.
In detail on the questioned unit, before install the network management card the UPS has been powered off (by pressed the o button) and disconnected all power cables includes AC source. Then as soon the slot cover removed from the back, the UPS starts making constant solid tone. We inserted the slot cover back to the UPS but solid tone remains. As soon we disconnected the battery leads, the tone stopped. However, reconnected the battary leads then reconnected the power source, the tone rings again. If we power on the unit, all LED lights seems normal and shows no error.
To further troubleshooting, we installed the network management card into this questioned unit. Then according to the management console, the questioned UPS works normal with no error but the constant solid tone persists. Any suggestion? Please help.
