My computer would go into the sleep mode prior to installing PowerChute. Now, after installing PowerChute, it only monemtarily clicks or hesistates and stay ON. What configuration affects this mode? Any help would be appreciataed. Thanks. Using Windows 7 Home Premium. UPS is the APC BR1000G.

Hi Gilloz,
Have you tried disabling Hybrid Sleep? You may also want to look at your devices which is configured to wake up your computer during sleep. Here is a linke that would give you an idea how - http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/fix-sleep-mode-randomly-waking-up-issue-in-windows-vist...
The thing is if your PC is at sleep and you disabled the UPS from waking this up, your PC might crash due to unsuccessful shutdown.
