Hi I have a Smart-UPS RT 5000 XL that keeps on giving errors ever 30 seconds that there was a # Diagnostic Test Failure
# Communication Lost. I have figured out how to change it so I only get these alerts every hour now, but how do I fix the actual problem. There can not be a communication lost since I am able to get into the web interface while I am getting alarms.
This is attached to an NS20 SAN that cannot go down.
thanks
Tony

I suggest you to upgrade the Network Management Card to the latest firmware v3.5.8 which will fix the issue. Follow the below K-base document instructions to upgrade the AP9619 firmware version to the latest version.

If the issue does not work after upgrading the firmware upgrade, we will try other troubleshooting steps.

Tony,
Let me gather some more information from you to understand what is going on with the NMC.
Could you please post the recent event logs of the NMC?
What is the NMC firmware version?
When this issue has started?
Looking forward to hear from you.
