Hi,
We have 250 customer's computers handle with BACK-UPS and SMART-UPS.
We try to use PowerChute to send to ups, an hibernate command, to restart the computer after power failing. This functionnality works fine.
However, we need to get the battery level in a specific software (developped by us) to prevent our automatism that the computer will shudown (before PC shutdown, we must do security actions).
When PowerChute is installed, we can't get the battery level.
When PowerChute is not installed, we are able to read the battery level, but we can't send to the ups, an hibernate commmand that allow computer restarting when power gets back.
Is exist a .NET Library which permits an external application, the monotoring of an APC UPS wired on USB?
Thanks for your help.

If your developers are okay with USB programming, you might check out the USB Power Device HID.
