Charger Fault & PFC Fault on MGE Galaxy 5000 80KVA

Hi Team,

We facing a problem on MGE Galaxy 5000 80KVA. the UPS mimic panel indicated "Charger Fault" & "PFC Fault".

As the DCHON board was already replaced we tried to upgrade the control kit (MIZEN, CHAN, GDEN) by a higher technical level kit, but the fault occurred after three days.

Then we exchanged the two MUTON boards to see if there is a faulty in PFC board ( if there is a fault the UPS will indicate "Inverter Fault" instead of "PFC Fault"), but the UPS indicated "Charger Fault" & "PFC Fault" again.

Next step we replaced the (DCHON Ventilation Fan), and this was a most successful stage as the UPS indicated "PFC Fault" after about 2 weeks without "Charger Fault".

Finally, we re installed the old control version but the UPS indicated "Internal CAN Communication Fault" beside "Charger Fault" & "PFC Fault".

Could you please share your experience in this case?

Thanks

It appears this issue could be many different things and may require a service provider to resolve. The response I received was fairly detailed and seemed to indicate only service personnel should take care of this.

I am looking into a reply to help you with this one. 3 phase MGE is not my thing unfortunately.
