As topic, does anyone know how powerful the charging circuit is on these two units?
On the XL unit, if I add more battery packs and configure the UPS for the number of packs, will the charger increase the charge current (in theory I guess its possible since it uses the same transformer and mosfets for charging) or is the charge current limit the same regardless of the number of packs?

Thanks.
I measured the charge current. I didn't want to drain the batteries deep just for this test, so the values are just approximate.
SUA1000I: Max charge current approx 3.3A.
SUA750XLI: Max charge current approx 6.3A.

Hi marin849, the chargers in these units are run at max regardless of the number of battery packs installed (there fore increasing the number of xlbps increases the recharge time) Hope this helps.
