Windows Server 2008 R2
Powerchute 2.1.1 will not uninstall. In Programs and Features, Powerchute reports "this item may already have been uninstalled. Do you want to remove the Program entry"
System restore is not a viable option on this production server.
Manual removal instructions would be appreciated so that I can upgrade to pcns310win-x86-64

Removed all registry entries as suggested.
Installed pcns3.1
Uninstalled pcns3.1 (required to remove the legacy PowerChute service)
Re-installed pcns3.1
Resolved. All systems working.
Many thanks

Hi,
Sorry but PCNS 2.1.1 was discontinued more than 10 years ago so there is no documentation available for it. I suggest searching in the registry for APC, PCNS, PowerChute Network Shutdown and remove those entries. You should back the registry up first just in case you accidental remove something that causes a system issue. You can find instruction on how to back up the registry at Back up the registry - Microsoft Windows Help
Here is a list of registry entries PowerChute Network Shutdown (PCNS 3.x) creates. HKLM below stands for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
