Can I plug a bare RBC124 into a Back-UPS Pro 1500 as the external battery?
I just bought a Back-UPS Pro 1500 and an extra RBC124 battery pack thinking I would be able to plug that in to the external battery connector, a BR24BPG.
I already have the RBC124. Can I just plug it into the back of the Back-UPS Pro 1500? I have a connector that should work if the bare battery is okay to use instead of the BR24BPG unit. I got the connector off of a RBC32 battery pack and the plug fits the back of the 1500.

Yes, please and thank you. I have the connector hooked up and it's ready to plug in.
If the BR24BPG external battery package is just four batteries in a box, then it seems like my two batteries without the box should work just fine. But, I don't know if the BR24BPG has any circuitry to assist in charging or anything like that.
Oh, from looking at the pictures in this blog, there's no circuitry whatsoever except for the fuse or resistor on the yellow wire. My connector also has a yellow wire, for whatever function it performs.

This isn't something we can recommend however that doesn't mean it will not work. If anyone has any experience doing this, feel free to reply.
