C1500 230 VAC turns off with a serial cable

Hello,

we are using Smart-UPS C1500 230 VAC Tower.
I was going to install PowerChute Business Edition v10.0 for Windows on SuperMicro Server with Windows Hyper-V server 2012 R2 installed. The UPS was connected via Cisco Serial Cable and... The UPS had been turned off (yes, all my connected servers and devices were powered off too)
Then I tried to turn on the UPS, but it didn't start with plugged Serial Cable. Was it my mistake to use Cisco Serial Cable or this cable is suitable with UPS?

Hi

I believe the correct part number is  AP940-0625a.  If you contact our customer care team they will send one free of charge and make sure you get the correct cable.
