Just brought the unit home from Circuit City. Every time I turn on the power on the unit it trips the house's 15 amp circuit breaker. Also, tried on a different circuit with a 20 amp breaker with the same results. This happens with nothing plugged into the unit. Anyone have any suggestions??

That's pretty much what I thought but I was kind of hoping for some technical wizardry that might fix the problem. I'll be contacting APC since Circuit City is liquidating and all sales are final. Plus it was their last one.
Thanks.

it sounds like there is something in the unit that has been shorted out. i'd recommend contacting APC technical support for a replacement or worst case, returning it to the location where you purchased it if you cannot wait for a replacement from APC. we would ship one to you first then have you ship the faulty one back.
