Battery model number changes?

When did APC change the model number for commonly known batteries?

What had been known as APCRBC132 is now APCRBC157.

Also, the APCRBC133 is now APCRBC159.

Those are the most commonly used batteries in my fleet of SmartUPS devices.

Is there a document that describes this change?  And did other model numbers also get revised?

Thanks!

Larry

Hey Larry, did you ever get any resolution to this?  I had a similar question I posted about a month ago, here (https://community.se.com/t5/APC-UPS-Data-Center-Enterprise/Battery-for-SMT1500RM2UC/m-p/431521) and no one else responded either.

Take care!

Is there a reply other than yours in 3 months?  No!

I am thoroughly disgusted by what Schneider Electric has done to the APC partner program.  There used to be frequent partner communications, webinars, and updates.  Now, nothing new is conveyed, features are removed without warning, changes are made without notice.

I am extremely sad to have been a partner for more than 15 years to see it turned into one of the worst experiences imaginable.

Hello, Larry. How are you? My name is Andrew a quick question. Do you have any evidence Or direct to where I can find that information? That the APCRBC133 is now APCRBC159.

I never - ever - received an official response from someone on the forum or from my APC partner/sales representative.

It is only after waiting (often interminably) for technical support to answer the phone that I was given this information.
