Battery connectors - detailed diagram of red/black APC 2200

I had someone remove the old batteries (8 of them). He disconnected (of course) but now we are not sure which terminals to connect to which.

Obviously black to black, red to red. But in what sequence?

It is amazing that there is nos specific diagram available for such a crucial (hazardous?) spec.
