Battery Replaced Date Not Updating
I have just replaced the RBC7 battery pack into an SUA1500.
This unit has never been monitored by PowerChute, as whoever originally installed it didn't supply the cable. I have connected it using an ordinary A:B USB cable and installed PowerChute Business Edition v9.01. The server is a Fujitsu Primergy TX150S6 running Windows Server 2003R2 SP2.
When I update the "Battery Replaced" field in the Console it shows correctly on screen, but doesn't save. If I switch away from the screen and return to it later it shows as 01/01/1980. The Risk Assessment diagnostic similarly shows the battery at 32.5 years old.
The unit itself is a little over 10 years old and has firmware 601.1.I
I suppose as it hasn't been monitored before we are no worse off, but is this a known issue. Is there any fix?
