I recently purchased APC Smart-UPS 2200VA for my network and rather than going the management card route I rather do something a little bit more raw and complicated as well as cheaper. My network contains 2 Win 2003 Server boxes and 3 Linux boxes. I will be installing the APC unit on one of the Win 2003 Server boxes and use the Powerchute Business Edition for the management. I wanted to know if anybody knows of a software app written specifically for this or if anybody has a some type of script that I could apply to this scenario. I am looking for the dedicated Win 2003 Server box to execute a batch file that will automate a shutdown to the other Win box and the 3 Lin boxes when the power on the management server if you will runs to around 15%. Any help is very much appreciated. ![]()
Sincerely,
