Hi,
Looking at the rear of the APC Smart-UPS 2200 (smt2200i) unit with the Network Management Card slot on the left and the inlet power at the bottom.
Where should I plug my servers in? The left or the right bank of 4 power inlets?
Even better pointing me to some documentation will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
John

hello,
here is the SKU page for that: http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=smt2200i
the answer is that this UPS has outlet groups and you can control those groups individually and also gracefully shut them down at different times.
you can choose the configuration that works best for you on which servers to plug into which outlets.
http://www.apcmedia.com/salestools/SCON-7NBSEM_R5_EN.pdf is the user's guide i believe for this UPS for review, also noted in the documentation tab on that page I linked you to.

ok, one thing i see here to begin is you said your UPS has a network management card but you are using powerchute business edition to configure it. you should not be using both of those at the same time - one or the other.
in the attached scenario, the UPS will run as long as it can until it hits a low battery or if you have any other specific settings under load shedding. so basically it will run as long as it can till "low battery" which should be greater than or equal to the 270 seconds you see.
