BE550G and PowerChute Pro

I have new client with several smart-750 and higher APC UPS. They have purchased 10 BE550G units for Windows 7 Workstations and want to run the pro client software on them and therefore add them to the console. appears that they cannot be managed by pro. Is this true or have I missed something. Thanks.

Our Back ups units(such as the be550g unit you have) use PowerChute personal edition. The smart ups units use Powerchute Business Edition. Unfortunately, you cannot use a backs up with Business edition software as it will not be able to communicate with the software. You would need to download Powerchute personal edition and have it installed on each computer connected to each UPS. Please reply if you have any further questions.
