Hello,
I have a Back-UPS ES 500 (BE500U) with a USB data port. The Powerchute software does not see the UPS. The UPS does appear in the device manage and has no errors or warnings associated with it. I am running WIndows 7 64B.
Don't know why the software is not picking up on it - any ideas?

Did this ever work properly - either on this computer or another? Can you try another computer just to see? It also maybe help to follow the step outlining rebooting the UPS and the computer and see if any change if you can't try a different computer as a test.
