Rob,
Sorry for the delayed reply. Is the on line LED lit? That is the middle LED in the second row from the left. If it is then the UPS in on line and the batteries LEDs my light up once the battery pack charges.
You can check the battery pack charge with a DC volt meter. The unit has qty 2 12v batteries in series so the voltage reading would be around 27 volts DC for a good battery pack.

Rob,
If the batteries are dead or not connected properly the unit will not power on and there will be no LEDs lit. Check the battery connections and if the Smart-UPS is SUA1500 check that the battery connector on the back is secure.

Thanks for the quick reply. I triple checked the battery connections, and checked the connector in the back, and all the connections looked good and tight. I do feel air from the fan vent in the side, and it beeps when you cycle the power button, just no lights whatsoever. It is still plugged in to the same place along with other devices that are all working so the AC power should be fine. When I shut it down to change the batteries, one of my servers was 'complaining' about lack of backup, but that went back to normal when the battery reconnected. Could the new batteries just be very low?
