I got a free apc smart-ups 1000(sua1000) for free from work and picked up a pair of batteries for it for 50$ and just got it hooked up to my gear(4 servers). I want to have it set up so when the power goes out for long than 30 seconds or so(we have fairly regular power blips in my area) it shuts down all 4 of my servers. I have it connected to one of my servers by usb and installed powerchute business edition on it to manage the UPS, which i've messed with a little bit. I did see you can get smart cards installed onto the UPS, including some network cards. What benefit is there to having one https://showbox.bio/ https://tutuapp.uno/ https://vidmate.cool/?
I guess what i'm getting at is what are the best practices when it comes to UPS config???

Hi Challa,
For multiple servers I'd recommend installing a network management card and then using Powerchute Network edition.
