Hi,
Our Silcon DP320E let's us hear one long beep of approx. 10 seconds every 5 minutes.
The event log shows us UPS: Non-specific fault cleared, which means nothing to us. Could anyone figure out what's wrong?

I have accessed the keyboard on the UPS. It's showing message 'Connection to controller lost'. Anything I can do beforce calling APC?

Hello,
I checked with the guys who work with this unit and they said you will want to call in to be walked through reseating some cables to clear the problem.
They also said this is not a critical issue, the display just wont get the information. They are backed up on calls right now (coming off the holiday weekend) so if you call in you may have a long wait. If you wait until later today or even tomorrow it should be much faster to get someone.

I've indeed contacted APC and an engineer cut 2 cm (1 inch) of the fiber cable. This seems to be a common problem where the light through the fiber gets faded over time.
