If I look at my universal power supply, it accepts 100V-240VAC nominal. The EU countries which use 230V nominal have +10% tolerance -- the actual power can be up to 10% above 230, or 254VAC. So I expect my computer will work fine up to at least 254VAC.

Hello Pongpeera,
In the long run, it is not just the computer that gets harmed. If the UPS is operating on AVR trim mode for a very long time there is a possibility that the AVR function or other internal components would fail.
If you are continuously getting a very high voltage on site, I suggest that you contact your service provider (Power Company, Generator provider etc.) to correct it.

The power input of UPS is 208-224v. If the UPS is on battery, It's output will be 228v. (As set as 230v in PowerChute Business Edition) But if it's on line and AVR Boost runs, It's output will be >240v. Even the load is just only 200-300w.
