APC SRUTD3000XLT WORKS WITH 2-PHASE OR 1-PHASE
We're using XLT model to support our computer systems. UPS units bought in USA but used in Europe. The model spec says 208-240 adjustable input voltage but APC in Europe told us that we cannot use this unit in Europe since it is designed for US. They told us that they meant phase-to-phase 208 VAC. Units were failed when we hook up units to 220 V single phase, they all failed. Didn't make too much sense to me, is it really true? Does anybody have any idea about this issue?

after investigation, an SURT UPS does not care if it is fed 2 phases and a ground or phase, ground, and neutral. the only major differences are things like breakers and plug types and on board firmware.
