APC SRT5KRMXLI - Error P.13 after battery change

With no mains input voltage applied and no load connected, the batteries were swapped and then the mains input voltage restored (via the breaker). The UPS starts but immediately gives Error P.13 code with warning sound. In the menu's, under UPS Control, it gives 'UPS is in fault state', 'Output Off'

Batteries are reading good quality and 91% charged, input voltage all ok but can't clear the error state,

Any ideas how to clear it. ?

From personal experience and what others have stated on the Internet you should contact APC Support for possible next steps if the unit is still under warranty.

If the hardware is NOT under warranty you may try the steps outlined below:

Power down and disconnect all loads from the system. Remove AC Mains from the wall outlet, internal battery, including any extended battery packs.

Press and hold the power button and wait for a click / beep. Doing so will complete what APC calls a Brain Dead reset.

Apply AC Mains only by connecting the wall plug. Press the power button and report back if the the P.13 fault has cleared.

If not read the user manual as to how to configure and use the EPO feature. Essentially you’re going to connect the EPO plug to the UPS. While the unit is running you will engage the EPO which will immediately shut down the UPS.

Wait about ten seconds and then press the power button. The UPS will beep, LCD should indicate EPO something and to press any button to clear the fault.

Is the P.13 fault present?

If yes the last step is to attempt to default the UPS to a factory state. You can try doing this through the LCD menu. If that doesn’t work you can try the same over serial (CLI) and select the option to default the unit.

NOTE: If there is a NMC (Network Management Card) installed download both error logs. Using the NMC report back what happens when you turn on the grouped outputs?

Self Test: If the unit is programmed to complete a self test disable the same. Either through the LCD Menu, CLI, or NMC. Doing so will help you complete the three different procedures without the system running this conflicting process.

Report back the results!

Powered down and disconnect all loads from the system. Removed AC Mains connection, & internal batteries (no extended batteries connected)

Pressed and held power button, but no click or bleep.
Reconnected Mains AC and still getting Error P.13.

Will try consoling in as next stage.

Ontem encontrei um equipamento com essa mesma falha. Pelo que consegui pesquisando, indica problema no circuito inversor. Ou seja, terá que retirar a placa em bancada e efetuar o conserto. Somente por programação e limpeza de alarmes não resolve.
