Hello,
Your UPS comes with an embedded UPS Network Management Card. This management card offers a command line interface via serial connection, telnet, and SSH. You can control the UPS through there.
Another "command line" type option is SNMP v1 or v3 which the management card also supports. The embedded card is a variant of AP9631 so you can review the documentation here for the command line. v6.2.0 firmware is the latest available and I'd recommend it for the best support of the SRT product line.
http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=AP9631&tab=documentation
From there, you can see the detail on how to configure the network management card and what commands are available.
With SNMP, you'd need the APC PowerNet MIB which can be downloaded from here http://www.apc.com/tools/download/index.cfm and once that is compiled and loaded, you can also control the UPS that way.
Hope that helps get you started.
