We are having issues with our Splunk listener, when ingesting syslog messages from the configured device, the header only includes the IP. We have a large environment 700+ devices, the Splunk filter is looking for a Hostname keyword and not the IP or range(too large to include). Is there a way to fix or update the header ( The Header: a time stamp and the IP address of the NMC.) to include the Hostname instead of the IP?
