I tried to do a Preventive maintenance service on this unit to check the installation date of the batteries and voltage output but I could not connect to communication port it said "you will be block for two minutes" I realised the customer changed the default password but he left the company. Is there any other way to log in ?

Gill,
The simple answer would be to pull the NMC and Hyperterminal in, and interface directly with the user-friendly EEPROM interface that the Smart-UPS RT has. However, this would potentially be utter chaos if the customer has the NMC configured for email, and also has PowerChute Network Shutdown installed and configured to shutdown at a communication loss event. Pulling that card will trigger a Comm lossed event, which may trigger a shutdown of your client's servers.
I would double check with them. If all else fails, ask them for a read-only account on the NMC and access the card via the web interface or telnet.
